  I went to the grand opening of what I was hoping would be a great addition to my college campus. Rather than have my expectations met I was met with over priced food that anyone could whip up at home with cheap ingredients. The taste of the food was mediocre at best aside from the beans. The worst part of this experience was opening my food box to find everything had been tossed like a salad! The cashier was very nice, however he mumbled and failed to make eye contact throughout the interaction. If the quality of the food was greater I would have no problem with paying $8.50 for two tacos, two sides (one being sour cream?!) and a small bag of stale chips with queso and salsa. The sour cream had long been settled and was past its serving time. The beans (one of the sides) were pretty good and lacked nothing, the tacos were okay at best, doused heavily with lettuce, but light meat and what tasted like a store bought crunchy taco shell. Overall this was a complete disappointment of an experience. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this to someone as a preferred campus dining method.

  I am relieved to see that Alfredos has taken steps in the right direction. They now offer a taco Tuesday deal, which allows consumers to pay not $8 for two tacos but rather, $1.50 per taco. This is quite an improvement on the what was, and still somewhat is ridiculous pricing. The only thing left is to bolster the service quality and consistency of the dining experience. There's a reason that their neighbors are so successful and I believe they should strive to parallel their efforts. Maybe with the bettering of service they will see an improvement on this public opinion of them. I will be back for Tuesday to try Alfredos again.
